Rohan was in direct contact with me and was quick to respond to any queries which I had. Our driver, Rad, was exceptional during our trip. He was naturally a comedian and also attentive and considerate throughout our 6 day tour. He was great at suggesting alternatives and points of interest which we otherwise would not have gone to. He was also an excellent driver despite the somewhat chaotic driving in Sri Lanka and we felt safe throughout our travels. His customer service was excellent and he was perfect for us. We were picked up from the airport by our driver "Rat" (Mr Ratnayke) who drove us for the following 14 days from Dambulla, Trincomalee, Nuwara Eliya, Udawalawe, Mirissa to Galle before driving us to the airport. I must say his knowledge of the entire country was amazing with years of driving experience, sense of humor, promptness, safe driving, good communication, extensive knowledge of flora and fauna, including cultural and historical consciousness made for a very enjoyable and fascinating two weeks. We built into our trip a few lay days over Christmas and New Year as well as some early morning starts to walk The Horton Plain, Udawalawe National Park Safari Drive and whale watching off the coast of Mirissa. All those excursions were arranged by him and proved to be well above what other tourists experienced. For example we were one of the first groups to lead of on the safari, the whale watching cruise was superior to others we had witnessed and been told about. We had some itinerary changes due to weather and he was able to arrange good value for money options and finally, on the last night was able to source airport accommodation at short notice after our booked accommodation was found wanting. We spent one week in Sri Lanka travelling all around the island. We are used to organise the trip by ourselves, but since the time was short and there are a lot of places to visit we asked driver in Sri Lanka Tour to help us in organizing it.Since the beginning they have been really friendly, helpful and serious!you really can trust them!
