We've just completed a 10 day tour through DISL. Communication with DISL before we arrived was very easy and they always responded to my (many!) emails quickly and helpfully. When we meet the owner on Day 1 he was very friendly and very polite. We were concerned about paying 100% of the tour price before we even drove off but had such a good experience we need not have worried.Our driver, Mihir, was one of the nicest, friendliest people I've met in a long time. We were very apprehensive about being driven but he was a super driver and we felt very relaxed with him driving us and our young children.Mihir took us everywhere we wanted to go. He had a long list of optional places to visit prepared by DISL but we had decided in advance exactly where we wanted to go and he never pushed us to go to places we didn't want to see so the pace was set by us and felt very relaxed. We really appreciated not being pushed into going to visit other places.We worked out the number of Kms we would be traveling on Google maps before we made our booking and then added a little extra so we didn't have to worry and this meant the whole experience was stress free. Even when we had a puncture friends of Mihir's turned up with minutes to to help. We were back on the rust within minutes. Mihir kept the van spotless and was immaculately presented and was great with us and the kids, really going the extra mile to help, like helping us find cashew nuts to take home on New Year's Day when everything was shut!I couldn't recommend a driver more highly than I'd recommend Mihir. His English was great, he's a very knowledgeable guy and having him as our driver 100% made our holiday.

I would not hesitate to recommend Driver in Sri Lanka Tours to anyone. We had a very good spacious car large enough for 6 people though there were only four of us and luggage. Our driver Mihir was a very careful and excellent driver. He knew the roads well and we always felt safe with him. He was always on time, spoke very good English and kept the car clean and spotless. He travelled with us for 10 days and was great company sharing his cultural and country knowledge as we travelled. He was very organised, always ringing ahead to check our hotel or restaurant bookings. He went above and beyond when we had a lovely local cashew nut meal, he rang the next restaurant we were going to go make sure they could do that dish if we wanted it! He gave us some good recommendations to fit in with the type of holiday we wanted. He knew we weren’t shoppers so he didn’t keep stopping at all the usual “retail” places drivers usually stop at. During our travels we were doing a train journey but there was a problem with the train station we were travelling from. He quickly sorted it out, drove us to the next station and didn’t leave us until the train turned up so we wouldn’t be stranded. Great experience so glad someone recommended these guys to us.

I can't even describe how happy we was with our driver Mihir . He wasn't just that he was our guard and helper and in the end he become our friend as well. He always made sure he drove us safely to our destination. He helped us find better and more efficient accomodation where we was treated like a some kind of VIP people. Without him and his amazing ideas we wouldn't see and live all those amazing things we did. I highly recommend this driver to anyone who wants to feel safe and make a most of it from holiday in Sri Lanka .

I’m horrible when it gets to writing reviews. It’s taking me ages to do it. But today I was going through pictures from last year trip to Sri Lanka and I finally got to the point to do it 😂 I think that was most amazing trip I ever took. I had great friends with me that took extraordinary effort to research the place and organise everything. It was 2 weeks full of activities, going from one city to another every single day. I don’t think that would be possible without our guide and driver- Mihir-cherry on the pie! And that’s review about him! Great person, amazing sense of humour, working whole day to guide us through this amazing place. He was keeping us out of trouble 😂 that for sure. He was translating for us whatever we needed, showing most unusual things that we wouldn’t even think about to see. He was arranging things like visiting old fashion spa with saunas looking like wooden coffins 😂😂😂 where I got the most amazing massage ever. I found out how to cook real Sri Lanka food in one of his friends houses when he saw that’s something I’m interested in. He showed us the real world there and that was the best part of it- getting to the inside of real life, tasting traditional food, seeing tea plantations and how factory’s work, showing to us herb and spice gardens that produces cosmetics and natural medicines. On top of that I laugh so much with him 😂 he’s really great guy! If you want to see the real Sri Lanka that’s your guy! I highly recommend him! Driver in Sri Lanka tours it’s definitely my choice if I will come back. I never felt safer so far away from home like he made me feel. I didn’t have to be worried about anything- I felt like if there was a problem it was solved before I even thought about it. It was pure pleasure to spend this time with such extraordinary person who simply loves what he’s doing. And Mihir!!! Till the end of my life I won’t forget You on the dance floor 😂😂😂 You rock!

My experiences was excellent. I traveled with Mihir from Colombo, Kandy, Nuwaraeliya and Ella. He made me a great trip. So, I recommended this company to travel with it. So you can get great experiences to visit Sri lanka.
