We booked a driver for 19 days through Drivers in SL Tour's. The initial contact and arrangements were quick and easy - we only booked the driver a week before arriving.We were lucky enough to have Bandula as our driver. Bandula is a kind and knowledgeable driver, with 15 years of experience on the tour circuit. He was always on time with a spotless car and smile on his face. He remained flexible with our requests and itinerary. He also helped arrange day trips and safaris. As all tours do there are optional tourist stops that can be made along the way, Bandula wasn't pushy with them at all (we declined most) . This was our first experience with a personal driver for an entire holiday. The only advice we'd give other first timers is to ask lots of questions and clarify things as they happen. We were a little confused by which additional costs were covered by us and which were covered by our payment, but Bandula was able to clarify all these along the way! He always remained very respectful towards us. All in all this provider and more specifically, Bandula, made our trip unforgettable. Safety was paramount throughout the entire 19 days and we couldn't recommend this company enough. Kind regards W&R

tl;dr: Our driver Sankalpa (Sanka) was awesome. Highly recommended! If you’re busy and don’t have time to plan the trip in details, you can just pick a few places that you really want to visit, and let your driver figure out the best route. Our trip was a shorter 9D8N traveling around Sri Lanka: Negombo -> Sigiriya -> Kandy -> Ella -> Yala -> Mirissa -> Negombo, so booking a private car was the right choice that we didn’t have to worry about transportation every time we moved. Driver in SL gave us the best quote among those we contacted, their reviews were good, and their website seemed proper so we chose them. The company owner Ralf was not friendly but the driver they sent, Sanka was absolutely awesome! Here are a few reasons why I strongly recommend traveling with him:- Very friendly and professional: he helped us to customize our itinerary to suit our preference as we didn’t have enough time to check out all locations. We made it from Kandy, visiting most places in Nuwara Eliya and hopped on the signature train from there to Ella in one day.- He doesn’t drink at all. It seems like driving under the influence is not uncommon in Sri Lanka so knowing that our driver didn’t drink made us feel safe.- He helped us book tours that were good value for money, and he made sure that we can get the most out of it. We booked whale watching tour through him, and he arranged our pickup tuk tuk to arrive early to the boat so that we could get the best seats.We definitely want to travel with Sanka again when we visit Sri Lanka next time!

I booked Driver in Sri Lanka Tours based on the positive reviews and it did NOT disappoint. The quote given was fair and the best of the 8 different companies I contacted. Rohan was in direct contact with me and was quick to respond to any queries which I had. Our driver, Rad, was exceptional during our trip. He was naturally a comedian and also attentive and considerate throughout our 6 day tour. He was great at suggesting alternatives and points of interest which we otherwise would not have gone to. He was also an excellent driver despite the somewhat chaotic driving in Sri Lanka and we felt safe throughout our travels. His customer service was excellent and he was perfect for us. I recommend Driver in Sri Lanka tour on all levels in terms of value for money, communication before the trip and quality of the driver. Also request Rad!

Really good agency!I recommand it.We informed what we would like to do, and the agency made our trip (only 1 day) with different option price/activity.Réactiv, professionnal and serious.More than 1200km in 4 days, they were always nice and smiling.They are Knowing a lot about them country, history, culture, restaurant, shop, place to see, EVERYTING.Good And safe way of driving, We enjoyed the trip thanks to the organisation, and the kindness.Also the car was really comfortable lot of place (van) for just us two.Its the perfect agency if you need help for enjoying your day in sri lanka, and also to visit and be confortable especially if you dont have much time.

I would highly recommend this company. We travelled with our driver Sanka for a week from Colombo>Sigiriya>Kandy>Ella>Udawalale>Mirissa. Sanka was an absolute gentleman! He was not only very knowledgeable, he was incredibly polite, friendly and helpful. The car was very comfortable. I would recommend to anyone.
